职位描述：: Job Scope

Seismic Field Engineer will focus on company’s borehole seismic services including VSP, microseismic Fracture Mapping, etc. Overseas project will also be covered if required.

Job Responsibilities

1.1 Compliance to work instructions.

1.2 Raise corrective actions for all non-conformances.

1.3 Identify areas requiring improvement and / or audit.

1.4 Manage the acquisition phase of borehole seismic surveys.

1.5 Liaise with clients during the planning process and execution of seismic acquistion

1.6 Customize acquisition to meet client objectives.

1.7 Manage equipment inventory.

1.8 Procure replacement for lost, damaged or worn out equipment.

1.9 Maintain records and communications as required by the Operations Manager.

1.10 Support operations with technical assistance as required.

1.11 Maintain current technical status by attending advanced training courses and by self-study.

1.12 Support the introduction of new and advanced technology by hands-on involvement with the new technology.

1.13 Participate actively in quality improvement efforts.

1.14 Train assigned personnel in seismic operations and seismic equipment operation, service and repair.

1.15 Carry out all required responsibilities safely.

1.16 Maintain an intimate knowledge of the latest technological changes and operating procedures that pertain to Company equipment, tools, and practices to ensure maximum operating efficiency with a minimum of lost time.

1.17 Conduct business with customers and dispatches crews and equipment to customer’s location in accordance with client’s requests.

1.18 See that all customer report requirements are met.

1.19 Perform other related duties as required.

1.20 Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Job Requirement

· Good English communication skills.

· Minimum 3 years experience as Wireline Logging Engineer.

· Good health condition and suitable for field operation job.

· B.Sc. in Geophysics, Geology or Engineering

· Working knowledge of seismic data acquisition

· Advanced computer skills

· Available to travel
